Today on The Janssen Report: I am delighted to have with me on this Power Interview Dayna Martin, author, educator and activist in the area of parenting. Although the topic of radical unschooling may seem irrelevant for The Janssen Report at first, I feel that there is a big deal of conditioning going on that prevents most of us to think critically about what’s going on in our world (including the financial and monetary system).

Dayna is an activist, educator & author on the topics of natural birth, attachment parenting and Unschooling. She wrote a book called “Radical Unschooling: A Revolution Has Begun” and has a new book coming out, “Radical Birth”, due this year.

Dayna has had her fair share of media coverage from being on Dr. Phil, CNN, ABC, Fox News to 60 Minutes Australia, and she even served as an informational resource on the topic of Unschooling for the Discovery Channel, The Today Show and Oprah Winfrey.

In this Power Interview format I ask Dayna three main questions to help our viewers get acquainted with the subject of Unschooling:

• The problem;
• The causes of that problem;
• And what we can do to solve it.

Dayna and I met 2 months ago in Acapulco when she spoke at Anarchapulco. I thought her story was so compelling, that I decided to attend her workshop there too. And especially in light of all the problems in the world today, we have an important task of truly connecting with and helping our children become the best possible version of themselves.

Radical Unschooling is an evolution of our understanding about learning and the rights and respect of children.
