The Trojan Horse of Corporatocracy into Developing Nations: Rockefeller and Gates Foundation

Today on The Janssen Report: over the past decades multiple billionaires have started their own ‘philanthropist’ foundations with the aim to aid the poor and needy in this world. But, do you really think the richest people on the planet are giving all their wealth away just because they care about the poor and needy on the planet? Or is there another agenda, e.g. that of corporatocracy, involved?
Just a bit of food for thought on their intentions:
- Foundations are a tax haven (saving billionaires incredible amounts of money)
- Most of this money flows to the west, to other multinational corporations (such as… Monsanto!)
- These foundations are so large that they have gained influence on important agendas; they have a direct liaison with governments and other large bodies such as the United Nations.
An interesting study questioning the intentions of these foundations is “Philanthropic Power and Development – Who shapes the agenda?” by Jens Martens and Karolin Seitz, which was covered in an article on The Guardian. The study deals predominantly with the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and raises some very important questions. Much of the money from these foundations flows to the west, particularly to corporations that are known for their profit-driven policies. Only a very small portion of the money actually ends up in the economy of these developing nations.
It doesn’t take much to find the link between for instance the Gates Foundation and the Pharmaceutical Industry and some of the most dangerous companies in the world such as Monsanto. Monsanto for one is known for their environmentally destructive pesticide Round-Up and their production of GMO food. Their Genetically Modified Organisms are controversial to say the least.
In addition to all this, Bill Gates is known for his questionable link to vaccines and rather outspoken opinions on the importance of stopping world population growth, if not outright reduction of it (also known as eugenics). We have to be careful not to jump to conclusions, but these matters need considerable scrutiny. After all, these people are directly tampering with the health and lives of vast numbers of people!

Stay critical. Judge people on their actions, not their words.
